Vine Customer Review for Free Product.Jemay Smoke Detector Carbon Monoxide Detector Combo 10 Year Battery, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector with Voice Reminder, LED Warning Light Indicators, 1 PackThis is a very nice, well made smoke/carbon monoxide detector and it speaks as well! I also love the fact that this detector comes with a battery that will last 10 years. So I no longer have to worry if I changed the batteries out. Upon testing this unit, I found it functions as it should, it was very loud and the speaking was easily understandable. This detector was also easy to install with the provided instructions. Given that this is a combination smoke/carbon monoxide detector and it comes with a 10 year battery, I think it is priced very fairly.

Seems full feature, had to bring in a electrician to change the wired connection.Its one of those items you hope you never use!

This is a bilingual, combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector that, in addition to beeping, has voice alerts in both French and English.The features and functions on this unit are fairly straightforward, and comparable to other combination detectors I own, but three things stand out to me:While it’s advertised as bilingual and I can hear French being spoken when testing, the instruction manual is in English only, as is all the text on the unit itself, including the backside of the unit. On the front, alongside English, the only French I see is “Allez respirer de l’air frais à l'extérieur: Appelez le 911” and “Ne pas peindre”.The Replace By sticker on the back of the unit is large and easy to locatePer the instructions, the unit should flash green every 40 seconds when it’s in standby mode. The front of the unit also states Green = Power. However, the unit I received isn’t showing green for power, nor flashing green every 40 seconds. I believe it’s activated and functioning because I successfully tested it twice but there isn’t a green light indicating it’s actually on and working. I will assume it is, take peace in knowing this isn’t the only detector in our house, and continue to test it over time as recommended.So with these things in mind alongside the price point, I can’t give this a glowing review.
