I recently got the Soccer Training Mat and it’s been a game changer for my practice sessions. The anti-skid feature ensures it stays in place, even during intense drills. The mat we received measured at 47"x31"x.1" (approximately 2.5mm thick). No foul odors observed. It is like a really thick cloth covered mouse pad. The included socks are appropriate for kid's feet, likely in the range of 8-13 years old. If you are an adult and wanting to use this mat, get grippy socks your size. This is not something you'd want to use with cleats or shoes as the surface is likely to get scuffed up fairly quickly. Had my daughter try the ball holder that goes around your waist. It was not a hit for her. She'd prefer to kick with loose ball. I don't blame her as it does change the feal and could get tangled up a bit.Took a star off for the kicker waist strap thing; just leave it out of the set and knock off $5 and this will be solid.

I like the larger size of this Soccer Training Mat. When unfolded, the mat lays flat, and the entire backside has a good rubber surface that grips the floor and does not move. The graphics look great, and the colors are vibrant. My son watched some online training videos on YouTube to practice. It's slow going at first, but after a while, I can see his improvement. I think the thickness of the mat is perfect. The included grippy socks work nicely with the mat. The included soccer ball tether is to practice outdoor kicking and foot juggling.

My daughter is a rising U14 player and is an overall great athlete but lacks some touch with the ball so this has been a great training tool to get her some extra touches on the ball.First, it's a good size and not like some smaller mats that you don't have space to move the ball. Not only do you have space to practice more realistically in a single spot, but the mat also does a good job of staying put. Overall we are happy with it, and looking forward to her improvement this winter.

It is larger than I imagined. I was expecting doormat sized but it is larger. Like a large doormat. It is thick and soft, with vibrant colors. When I was opening it my son asked if it was real grass (by which he meant turf) because the graphics are so good. The ball kicker is a bit weird. to secure the ball it's just Velcro straps so it seems like that will wear out quickly and not hold the ball for long. It does work well though, and has an adjustable elastic so you can practice kicking the ball far or keep it close. It is only a half inch wide though so it twists up very easily and has to be untwisted to adjust the length. My boys (10&12) loved using it though. It comes with grip socks --not sure why but in the guide to exercises you can do on the mat it shows the models wearing socks. They seem thick and high quality, surprisingly. They are comfortable. They are sized probably a medium--so 6-9 in women's and 4.5-7 in men's. They might stretch to a bigger foot as well. I haven't tried.

This seems like a great item for soccer training. It comes with a belt and an attachable “bag” that holds the soccer ball and attaches to the belt. Fun for any kiddo trying to get some extra practice in the game!
