Bought this as a b-day present for a new 6 yr old. We love making cutout and shaped cookies but my simple French wooden rollers are hard for them to use. This keeps the dough consistent as they're rolling. We haven't needed the measurements yet but can't wait to try them this fall (pie making season). It's simple and easy to use and clean.

paid $6 SHIPPED for this rolling pin (March 2024) so why spend a small fortune for a wood or marble rolling pin? What's that you say? You can chill a marble rolling pin? Well, you can chill/freeze this metal rolling pin too and the included rubber spacer rings work wonders.

I bought this to use with baked clay as I didn't want baked clay residue on my wood rolling pin. The stainless is much easier to clean. It works perfectly. We needed the clay 1/4 inch thick, so the depth rings were quite helpful.
