Attached with a 102" steel whip antenna and a tie down. Great ears and SWR even when tied down.. I love it.

This spring is sturdy, I have it supporting a browning flat coil antenna with a 21 inch mast so total overall length is almost 6ft, mounted on a tractor trailer mirror it's doing exactly what I wanted it for, it doesn't really move at all unless the wind is blowing hard and I'm cruising 65 to 70 it might move some but it's not swinging...way more sturdier than the Wilson spring I tried before this one..and it also gave me a slightly better SWR but probably because it raised up my antenna some.. would recommend this spring

looked like A quality spring like the old 1960s and 1970s to use on my Hustler ball mount for my Outback HF amateur radio antenna.73Finally got around to install my Outback Amateur radio antenna.the threads on one end of the spring were not taped in correctly so the stud would not hold.More Chinese junk.

This replaces a Hustler so called stainless steel 6" barrel spring that the end caps rusted within 6 months of installling. So far this has been completely flawless. Perfect spring for the old standard 102" stainless steel whip antenna.
