I needed this to connect my whip antenna a ground plane adapter. The 5/8-24" thread is more like a M16 x 1 thread. The adapter with the black finish looks to be slightly bent. I read one comment saying that the one they had, had the wrong threads and other comments say they worked fine.Don't waste your money on these. I've ordered a different brand adapter, but it's taking two weeks to arrive.Sad Ham. Dayton, OH

I bought to use with the Yaesu Atas 120a. It would not tune the antenna with this adapter on. Went and bought a new diamond and 10 amount and it worked. Might work for a regular antenna, not a power screwdriver antenna.

This is exactly what I needed for my radios. I changed the antennas and added this mount to my current NMO mounts and my SWR's are 1.1 - 1.3 now. I'm glad that I got these.

Esay to use when you change mobile antennas. Well made and reasonable priced it should be in your Junk box with the reset of your tools and cable supplies. Highly recommended the product and the seller.

Seems to be well manufactured and I like the dual-color option as well. Fit nicely on both the NMO mag-mount antenna base, as well as on top of the ground-plane kit, as shown on the attached pictures. So it is 5-Stars for me! :)
