Nice replacement for a plastic fountain. Stainless steel will last forever. Filters a bit pricey, but if that's a problem, get a Brita pitcher (on Amazon) and pre-filter the water before using it in the fountain. Quiet. Easy to fill, and easy to clean is a BIG plus!! Cats LOVE it and I mean all four of our rescues! LED water level is questionable but acts like a subtle night light.

I'm 100% satisfied with my cats new Kitty Spout2. The pump motor is super quiet...I can't hear it. Hear the water trickling out of the faucet more. Took my 2 cats a couple days to get used to it but they love it now. I've noticed the health in my older female cat is alot better now. Her fur feels softer, her skin isn't so dry, and she doesn't seem to have a problem with her kidneys or urinary tract anymore. Before Kitty Spout she couldn't get to the litter boxes in time and would go potty on the floor...not anymore. If they could talk to me I'm sure they'd tell me how much they love drinking clean filtered water. Kitty Spout is so easy to clean and i love the filteration system. I'll never buy another plastic water dish for my cats ever again. I'm a very satisfied customer. Well worth the cost of it.

In our kitty’s case, this was a total waste of money. She won’t touch it. Had sniffed it a couple of times but, no interest. Moved it a couple of different times to see if the location was the issue but, still the same result.

I have four cats and one didn’t drink from our existing fountain. I bought this one based on the advertising, that my reluctant cat would use it. He did not, so I sent it back and returned to using our existing fountain. This unit was quiet and seemed built well enough, but it looks like lab equipment.
