When you try to prevent children from opening doors or cabinets, you can install door latch lock in a high position so that children can't touch it.
Door latch lock cannot really prevent an adult from forcibly breaking the door, but it can add extra security to your door.
If you want door latch lock to be installed more securely and safely, you can replace the screws we provide with longer screws during installation.

Poor quality. The bolt handle is all the way at one end (when extended, it is only held at one point), and the housing has way too much tolerance. As a result, the end of the bolt moves a LOT.This, and the flimsy construction, make the latches a poor choice for securing anything.

These serve their purpose on the hinged windows on my coop. I wouldn’t trust them for a main door though.

They have held up well of the need that I had. They are by no means something to depend on for preventing access to something secure. But as a way of holding a light gate or similar shut they do a great job. And the value for the money is very good.

I bought these small barrel bolts be used in some DIY project, a chicken coop, a chick brooder etc., and they worked perfectly fine. Reasonably priced and good. Recommended.
