4 stars because it came with no instructions whatsoever (spent about 15 minutes in YouTube figuring out how to set it up). But It's very sturdy and seems to be well made. I used it outdoors in for a photoshoot, and it did quite well. It's heavy, so you probably don't want to take it in location if you'redoing a lot of walking.Also, I needed an allen wrench to loosen one of the set screws in the boom arm bracket. The bracket wouldn't fit in the stand pole without loosening that screw.

This stand is very robust & better than I had anticipated. Assembly is a breeze. It has a large footprint and is stabile.

Hatte bisher immer nur so billige Stative die auch nicht besonders Robust waren. Habe jetzt mal mehr Geld in die Hand genommen und würde es jederzeit wieder tun. Das Ding ist komplett aus Stahl gefertigt und das merkt man nicht nur am Gewicht sondern auch am der Standhaftigkeit (Neidisch guck :D).Egal ob ich da meine Vollformat Kamera dran hänge für eine Topdown Aufnahme oder meine Godot SL-W60 + Softbox da wackelt gar nichts.Ich spreche eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung aus, irgendwann werde ich mir auch einen 2. holen, wenn ich ihn benötige.

I finally got the legs open but I had to disassemble and then reassemble. The stand otherwise is solid from what I can tell. I think if they work out that spring system on the bottom, it will be better. For the cost, it doesn't get better though. I feel it is sturdy enough to do whatever you want in your home studio. It's decently heavy and tall too.
