It's not lightweight, not too heavy either, just about right. Looks attractive on the table or counter. Photo is true as far as color & design. It may be a bit small for any entire stick of butter, not sure as I only put out a half stick at a time. Very satisfied with purchase.

Love this butter dish. It will hole a double stick of butter, like Kerry gold. The dish is sturdy and well made. The cow print on the side looks a bit worn which I like. Looks a bit rustic. Good weight. Fits flush to bottom, unlike some reviews I read. My dish is fine.

I was searching for a new butter dish and found this one. I was concerned that it would not hold a regular size stick of butter, but found out that it will hold a regular size stick of butter from the cow's utter. Very nice butter dish and well made!!

The first butter dish arrived yesterday and had a big chip on it so I asked for a replacement. I GOT THE REPLACEMENT TODAY! It's ADORABLE, goes well with my country decor, and I LOVE the creamy white color and size. Did I say I LOVE IT?

Exactly as advertised! A little pricey, but I needed it so worth it to me. It will probably never have butter in it but fits my farmhouse theme in my dining area! Love it

This butter dish is a nice size to hole one or two sticks or the half pound size. I use the single stick so the dish stays clean too! The cow motif on the side is nice too and gives it a bit of a farm kitchen feel! The handle makes it easier to pick up the lid and the butter seems to stays fresh longer than when I had it on a glass saucer with a glass bowl cover!
