Just what I needed. I have my original steel bearing bottom bracket. The one that came with my kit is for people with current screw in bottom brackets. For this one, I just unscrewed my retaining ring, slipped on the sensor, and put the retaining ring back. I had to bend the sensor a little bit closer to the magnet ring but this was not a problem. These are really versatile. You can cut the ring and use it anyway you want.

Exact one I had except the plug was reversed. The wire colors were the same so I cut and spliced the old plug on and put in new sensor and magnet wheel. All is working good again.

I had to change the connector because it's supposed to be a female end. It still didn't end up working.
