I got this for my son’s fish tank in his room and it is absurdly loud. It works beautifully but the noise is unreal.

This is a great air pump, doesn't make any noise at all compared to the other brands like Tetra and it's about the same size as the Tetra as well, just an inch taller and wider than it (40 gallon size) for comparison. The air flow is great especially with the dial which lets you control how strong you want it to be. And I will be editing this review if the durability does not last, which I doubt of course because all of my other hygger products have lasted me without a problem so far.

I've owned a few air pumps in this size range (including another Hygger) and it is definitely at the top of my favorites list.I wouldn't call this Hygger air pump "small" but I realize that this probably means the airflow when compared to the needs of medium-to-large or professional aquariums. Put two hands together palms up, and that's about the size of this air pump.It's quiet. If you place this in an aquarium cabinet the noise is practically gone. Sitting on a table/countertop it's heard but not so loud as to be irritating. The enclosure is nicely designed and it has little rubber feet to keep vibrations at bay.The air pump is powerful enough for two medium airstones. The box includes two sets of tubing and stones, but FYI I'm using my own "forever" airstones and sponge filters in testing. I really like that this is adjustable, as most on the market don't seem to have that feature. The range and difference between the low and high settings is perfect.Another FYI: Don't block one port on this type of air pump if you think you don't need it. Doing this could harm the longevity of ANY air pump. In a pinch you could use a tee barbed fitting to join the two air tubes into one leading to your stone or sponge filter.My other Hygger has lasted for years, and I'd predict this air pump is going to be a good investment. Highly recommended!

First of all, it work fine, included air stone and air line, 2 of them. Let hope it last. One thing to keep in mind, this air pump is not small, it is big but typical size for a dual port. I'm not sure why they name is small aquarium air pump when it's pretty big. Size don't matter though, as long as it work as advertise.I use this for my two tanks, 30 gallons each. First I use the included air stone and it work fine not weak, pretty good air blowing and quiet. Then I decided to switch to a bio filter and it work fine as well. The bio filter I bought a long time ago and it still work, just have to rinse wash all the dirt off, don't want any ich later in the future.I would recommend this for aquarium that need some extra oxygen, it will work as advertise, size is average not small, noise is average as well, if it's vibrating, might want to check the rubber leg or just put on top of a towel or cloth. Longevity I have no idea, only time will tell, but definitely don't get it wet or compromise with water, it will get damage, definitely not outdoor where the sun UV constantly hitting it and heat frozen weather can impact it as well.

First off, this thing works like a champ. If you take anything away from this review, take away that. It works.The downside (for me)? it's HUGE. It's big and takes up a lot of space. If you have space for this, go a head and buy it. If you're tight on space, I think it would be better to look for something smaller. (Size wise, not power.)

From the pictures this air pump didn't look to be that large but when it showed up it was absolutely humorous! This thing is big enough to Supply Air to the hubble space station.... that being said if you're looking to aerate your tank and don't care about size than this is the pump for you but otherwise.....

Not the standard ugly black box. This compliments your external tank accessories with a sleek, black compartment with an LED light that shows the air flow strength. Extremely quiet operation. Both ports emit a strong air stream. Very happy with this air pumo!

This can be used in 1 large aquarium or 2 small ones since it's dual port. It has an adjustable setting so if you want to turn down the flow you can. I use it to power one large bubble bar since it requires 2 tubes.
