I used it for my Wii game the new t.v. dose not have the old port for the game so had to buy this to convert the system over to fit the new t.v. it works just more wires to have to manage behind the t.v.

Hello,I certainly do believe this is a handy piece of equipment. I wish I had consulted my son's IT expertise prior to ordering this device. Apparently I don't need it for my type of DVD player. But I'm keeping it in case I find I can use it. It seems very functional and handy.
