The first unit we bought had an arm for a verticals support where the screws were welded wrong. We ordered a replacement and easily sent the original shipment back without charge. Now it looks and works well.

Easy to assemble. I have two, 50lb kayaks on it (10ft kayaks) and it seems very sturdy.I wish there was a bit more distance between kayaks just to make lifting the bottom kayak out easier if I'm not using the top kayak.Note, I have this in my garage which only has 7ft ceilings and it fits well but a 3 tier 3 kayak rack would not work as there wouldn't be enough clearance to remove the top level kayak from the rack.I would definitely buy again and at this price point it's a good deal.

TOO MY SURPRISE, IT WAS MUCH HARDER TO PUT TOGETHER AS IT DID NOT HAVE PRE DRILLED HOLES LIKE THE PHOTO/INSTURCTIONS SHOW. SO I WAS UNABLE TO ATTACH THE CROSSBAR - HOPING FOR THE BEST!!!!

This kayak rack is pretty good, but it doesn’t fit a double kayak very well. I have had the rack for several months, outdoors, and there is no sign of rust, nor has it fallen over. It keeps the boats off the ground which was my main goal. It feels a tiny bit shaky loading and off loading the boats, but so far has performed excellently for the price.
