Just received this cable today to plug my Xbox Series X to my gaming monitor which offers 1440p at 120hz via DisplayPort only. Plugged it up to each and plugged the pigtail into a usb charging block. Adjusted the settings on my Xbox and voila. It worked on the first try. I will continue to test for long term reliability, but so far so good. I think a lot of people’s issues could be traced back to the pigtail not receiving enough power or their system’s settings.

Had to return it. Ordered to use with an Xbox Series S and 1440p 144hz LG monitor that doesn't have HDMI 2.1. was initially encouraged because a review said they used it with an Xbox Series X and 144hz monitor but didn't work for me. Connecting the adapter to the Series S through HDMI and to the monitors display port would only allow 1080p @ 120hz. Tried every possible setting (on the xbox and monitor) but no dice. Monitor is an LG 32gk650f

Just a note and caution for my fellow gamers. This unit did not work for me and it is my fault. I didn't understand that I needed a bi-directional solution to plug in and use my DisplayPort interfacing HP Reverb VR headset. Please don't make the same mistake if you are looking for a solution to plug in your own VR headset. Beyond that, I think this product works as advertised and is a good product. If you want to simply take an HDMI output and route it to a DisplayPort input, this should work for you.

Used this for my Lenovo thinkpad X1 work laptop (hdmi) to connect to my iiyama 32" monitor (display port). The monitor already has 2 hdmi ports in use so needed to use display port. I actually don't need to use the attached USB power cable, works fine without it. Audio and video working well at 120hz. 👍

Needed for running display from my laptop to monitor. Cable is of good quality and very satisfied with product, decent value for money as well. Note USB needs to be plugged into a power source to work. USB A port on television port or monitor IS suitable and does work.

UPDATEDSince I've return the cable, Techtobox send me another one for testing pourposes and it's working great at 4k@60. In the meantime I had sell my Macbook Pro 2019 i9 and got the the Macbook Pro 2021 Apple M1 Max. The cable is working great for my setup at the office with the Samsung U28E590 monitor. I don't think the issue was the computer. I think I got a deffect cable on my first order.ORIGINAL POSTI've tried the "Techtobox Câble HDMI to DisplayPort 4K@60 Hz" with a Macbook Pro i9 with 8gb Radeon graphic card on a Samsung U28E590 4k. The best I can get is 4k@30 or 1080@60.With my caldigit hub I run 2 Samsung U28E590 monitor 4k@60hz. The computer is not the problem. The cable can't do it. I've tried to find a Techtobox website for support but couldn't find it. I've return the cable.

Very disappointing, returned a slightly not as good cable on paper. Now need to get the same cable that I originally returned and need to pay to send this back. Does not deliver what it says it does (screen says no signal when connecting with my laptop)
