Heavy duty and strong bar. Very comfortable. I recommend this bar, especially if you have any shoulder discomfort when holding the bar, but great bar for anyone. You will definitely need clamps as the bar is very smooth and weights slide easily.

It came rusty. Too annoying to try to return. And no it’s not lubricant one side is perfect the other is a train wreck.

Great for when your shoulders feel bear up great value. Make sure you use plate retainers, the ends of the barbell are very smooth.

I almost purchased a used safety bar at nearly twice the price. At the last moment, I checked Amazon, assuming they would not have one, but this checks all the boxes. Great deal, comfortable padding, and it does its job. It is slightly lighter at 55 pounds Than other safety squat bars I have used at 65 pounds, but I just take that into account when loading it.
